Gene Meyer Ties
Introduced for Holiday 1991 at Bergdorf Goodman, the collections, all engineered designs, either printed or woven silk, contained bow ties and long ties. They were produced in Japan and Italy and sold from 1991 thru 2002. The ties were worn and collected by many celebrities and were favorites of architects and graphic designers. Gene won his first CFDA award for the tie and boxer designs in 1994.
